Another first cousin, who shared his first name, brought the bell of the 2nd Congregational/Unitarian Church on Nantucket back from Portugal at the outbreak of the War of 1812. And a slightly more distant relation—his aunt Sarah (Cary) Barnard's brother-in-law's son, the Rev.
