18TH CENTURY MATERIAL CULTURE

Every now and then a website or blog comes along that is so good and informative that you have to share it right away. Sorry, I'm not talking about Whitesnake reunion tour blog.

The 18th Century Material Culture Resource Center is a treasure trove of period artifacts, images, documentation and clothing. Interested in learning about cheesebox canteens? It's there. Hats? Got it. Tavern life? Covered.

Each subject covered by "Beaker" is well researched and carefully documented. The slide shows are replete with specific documentation to support their research efforts.

The 18th Century Material Culture Resource Center should be required reading for reenactors and historians alike.... The site is that good.

The can be accessed here :

In the meantime I'll let everyone know when Whitesnake announces their world tour.
